Deleting your data

Plain English: It's your data. Delete all of it from your settings, or ask us by email — no forms, no fee, no questions. A linked Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube or Twitch account can be unlinked on its own.

Delete your whole account

  1. Sign in and open Settings.
  2. Under “Delete your account”, type the phrase it asks for and confirm.
  3. Your listings close, your linked social accounts are unlinked, and your personal data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days — the record we must keep for tax lives on without your name (see Privacy).

Unlink one social account

  1. In Settings, find “Connected accounts”.
  2. Choose “Unlink” next to the platform. The verified badge comes off your listings at once.
  3. Removing BrandMyX inside the platform itself (Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites) does the same thing: Instagram tells us, and we drop the token and the badge without you having to visit here.

Email privacy@brandmyx.com from the address on your account. We act within a month, usually the same day, and tell you when it's done.
